We invite you to become a part of our varied life as a congregation as we seek to serve the God who calls us to life that is vibrant and filled with the good hope of peace and love, the greatest of all gifts. Worship services at Westminster United Church take place in the Sanctuary each Sunday at 10:30am.
People of all ages and abilities are welcome for our worship service. We have a dedicated space near the front that is designed with children in mind. Our minister provides a variety of worship experiences for all ages and stages of the spiritual journey. Music is an important part of our worship time. We enjoy singing a variety of songs in worship and our choir and musicians regularly help us explore God in music.
At Westminster we celebrate an open table at Communion four to six times a year. All who strive to follow in the ways of Jesus, of any age, ability, gender, sexual orientation, and race are welcome to join the feast.
Westminster also enjoys a partnership with the three other United Churches of Waterloo. We each take turns hosting the various special services throughout the year such as Ash Wednesday (evening), Maundy Thursday (evening), Good Friday (morning), and the anniversary of the United Church in June.
You can count on folks gathering for worship here at Westminster most Sundays at 10:30am though in the summer you may want to check to see if we’re worshiping in our building. We typically encourage folks to worship elsewhere in July and the four United Churches of Waterloo join together for worship in the month of August.
Following each worship service, we would love to meet you for a time of refreshment and gathering in our community room if you have the time!

Choir

Join the choir for fun and fellowship. No audition required, just a love of singing. The choir practices most Thursday evenings beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary. See Steve Boothby or any choir member for more information.
